In This Section Community Impact Foundation Activities Past Grant Recipients Arts & Culture, Education and Environment Grants Health & Human Services Grants Special Initiative Grants In Their Own Words 25 for 25 Grants   Special Initiative Grants 2011        Positive Parenting and YWCA CCR&R   $50,000 For a collaboration between Positive Parenting DuPage and YWCA Childcare Resource & Referral to deliver capacity building and quality enhancement services to child care and home visiting programs in DuPage, raising the level of programming delivered to families of children from birth to five years of age.            West Chicago Police Department    $2,500 To assist the victims of the July 11, 2011 apartment fire in West Chicago that left 100 people displaced.            DuPage Social Services Association    $2,500 To assist about 150 residents of an apartment complex in Willowbrook displaced by damage to the roof of the building during the July 11, 2011 storm.            Total 2011 Special Initiative Grants:  3    $55,000   104 E.
